Aurora Holidays specialises in nature and outdoor holidays, offering celiac-friendly accommodations and experiences in the far north of Finnish Lapland. Located in a unique setting in Utsjoki, above the arctic circle and close to the northern Norwegian border. Spend the nights in a traditional, authentic Finnish cabin, near to the Teno river, with cozy furnishing and your own private sauna. There are four cottages and two apartments, all of them featuring a fully equipped kitchen and heating.
It is the perfect place to disconnect from traffic and noise. During the winter months, you can view the northern lights. In summer, you will enjoy long nights under the midnight sun.
The cabins are available for rent from April to August, the rest of the year you can book a packaged tour on a fixed date.

Gluten-free offer
The small and cozy restaurant offers Sami, Finnish and Scandinavian cuisine and happily caters to all dietary needs, including gluten-free, for breakfast, lunch and dinner. As a Sami reindeer herding family, self raised free range reindeer is a speciality of their menu. The team specialises in using fresh locally sourced ingredients and minimizing food waste.
A wide selection of gluten-free options is available. The menu shows every dish that is or can be offered gluten-free, which includes almost all meals, as well as cakes and more.
“We know from personal experience how difficult it is to find restaurants that accommodate your particular diets. We pride ourselves in being flexible, and are able to offer you most of our dishes as gluten-free, dairy free, vegetarian and vegan.”

Kitchen equipment in the cabins
The cabins have fully equipped kitchens where guests can prepare own meals. These are also suitable for celiacs, with cutting boards which are made of glass and a dedicated gluten-free toaster (upon request).Specialities
Aurora Holidays also offers small group all inclusive holidays on fixed dates. If you stay here individually in a cabin, you can choose between a variety of lifetime experiences. If the tour includes a meal, you will also be catered for gluten-free on the way.
