Auberge la Fenière
Cadenet, France
Auberge la Fenière is a beautiful, family-owned inn in the charming countryside of Provence. Its famous restaurant is totally gluten-free and earned a Michelin star in 1995. With only a small number of rooms, the property offers an intimate and exclusive experience. Outside, an outdoor pool and a boules court make your stay perfect. Indoors, a reading area is available, as well as yoga equipment.
The emphasis is on an open kitchen for all, including people with food intolerances and without restrictions at the table. With her approach “Cuisine Libre”, Nadia is working towards more inclusive culinary tolerance. Fresh ingredients are used for the meals from the own vegetable garden whenever possible, as the family values a conscious nutrition.

Gluten-free offer
The famous restaurant, founded by Reine Sammut, earned its Michelin star before Nadia Sammut received her diagnosis of celiac disease. Together with her mother, they redesigned the menu and made it totally gluten-free. Today, Auberge la Fenière is still Michelin starred and fully gluten-free, making it truly unique. Here, you can enjoy excellent food without having to worry about gluten. The gluten-free breakfast consists of homemade breads and granola, buckwheat pancakes, and many more delicacies.
For an extra special excursion, take a walk with a beautiful, filled picnic basket in the surrounding nature. The team will happily pack and customize the basket for you. If you are in the area, you could also try to book a table for a special dinner.Specialities
Nadia teaches cooking classes regularly within her “Cuisine Libre” concept, with regenerative, gluten-free, lactose-free and plant-based cooking.
