Sailor’s Beach Club is offering a new concept to all guests, including people eating gluten-free. Since June 2024, the kitchen team has been creating dishes that are naturally gluten-free and has been offering these for everyone on the general buffet. For example, hot dishes, starters, desserts, and gluten-free breads that use legumes instead of grains. Of course, these dishes are labeled clearly as gluten-free. By that way, the gluten-free products at Savarona main restaurant increased to 90%.
Further, various measures have been taken to minimize cross-contamination risk: dedicated production areas and kitchen equipment for the preparation of gluten-free meals; detailed cleaning procedures before each production; specialized training for kitchen staff. This means that all guests can enjoy the food like everyone else without being excluded.While great care is taken throughout all food preparation processes, it is important to note that shared kitchen areas may carry a risk of cross-contamination. While guests with gluten sensitivity can safely choose from the gluten-free options, guests with celiac disease are strongly advised to select their meals together with the trained staff to meet the higher level of precaution. Upon check-in, the restaurant supervisor personally informs and guides through the buffet. If necessary, the hotel doctor can be consulted.
Therefore, please mention upon booking and arrival that you are a gluten-free guest and do not hesitate to talk to the staff about it, especially in the different restaurants.
